Envirothon is a national competition in environmental science. Teams compete in their knowledge of wildlife, aquatics, soils, and forestry. The fifth topic varies each year, and for 2001 it is"urban non-point source pollution." For more information on Envirothon, visit the Virginia Envirothon web site. The Mountain Soil and Water Conservation District has been very generous in their support of our team and the Environthon.
