Students Assist Teachers with Sixth Grade Science SOLs

Lauren Murray and Sarah Peterson, seniors at the Jackson River Governor's School and Alleghany High School worked hard during the fall semester preparing content materials for the new Sixth Grade science SOLs. As juniors, Lauren and Sarah took AP Environmental Science and Introduction to Meteorology at the Governor's School. Their knowledge put them in a position to be a "consultant" to teacher's grappling with the new elementary school SOLs.
