2007 Western Virginia Regional Science Fair

Three projects from the Jackson River Governor's School
were entered in the Western Virginia Regional Science Fair at Roanoke
College.

Johnny studied "The Effect of Temperature on the Performance of
PEM Fuel Cells".

David received the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services award
for best project promoting a healthy lifestyle for his project "Body
Fat in High School Athletes and Non-Athletes".
Shaymus received the Yale Science and Engineering Association award
for best mathematics project by an 11th grade student for his project
"A Study of Geometrically Iterated and Complex Fractals Using BASIC".
